Supporting meaningful change in life, work, and leadership

I work with people who want to make meaningful changes in their life or work, pursue an important goal, or create a more sustainable and fulfilling way of living, working, and leading.

My coaching practice is grounded in Positive Psychology, a research-based branch of psychology focused on wellbeing, resilience, and the conditions that help people thrive.

As a restorative yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner, I offer sessions that support deep relaxation, stress and anxiety reduction, and moving out of overwhelm.

The path that led me here

For more than two decades, I've been creating spaces where people can grow, connect, reflect, and become more fully themselves.

Whether around campfires, in conference rooms, during retreats and workshops, or in coaching conversations, I've spent my career helping people navigate growth, change, and possibility.

Prior to launching my coaching practice, I spent a decade leading City Kids Wilderness Project. As Executive Director, I helped grow the organization significantly, more than tripling revenue and building programs that received national recognition. I loved this work, especially supporting youth, alumni, and staff as they explored what mattered to them, and where they wanted to go next.

Again and again, I found myself drawn to conversations about purpose, growth, leadership, and what comes next. Today, I bring those experiences into my coaching practice, helping people navigate their own seasons of growth and transition with greater clarity, intention, and ease.

Bringing together leadership, psychology + restorative practice

Education and Training

I have an MBA from Boston University with concentrations in Nonprofit Management and Entrepreneurship, and a BA in Peace & Justice Studies from Tufts University with a focus on Race in America. I'm trained in Conflict Management, Negotiation, and Mediation through the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, and completed a racial equity fellowship through The Equity Lab focused on disrupting systems of oppression.

My positive psychology coach training certification is through the Wholebeing Institute, and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation. A bit more about me…

  • I first learned about "leaning towards joy" in a positive psychology course more than 10 years ago, and have used it as a guiding force ever since. I may not be someone who has the next 5 to 10 years mapped out in detail, I do however know the next right step. When in doubt, I think about what feels like leaning towards joy, and I go in that direction. One step towards joy leads to the next, and it's been a wonderful guide so far.

  • I love being outside. Whether it's going on a hike, bike ride, swimming, or paddling; being in nature clears my head and helps me feel more connected, grounded, and in tune with my life. I love getting out on the river on my paddle board - I can paddle alone or head out with a friend and it's always exactly what I need.

  • In fact, l've taken several over the course of my career. In my mid-20s I went to Italy for two months to try and relearn Italian and spend time with my family there. I couldn't be more grateful for that time, especially time with my grandmother who has since passed. Prior to starting business school, I spent time living and working in Tahoe, and after graduation, I spent the summer living in a tent as a volunteer at a yoga retreat in Hawaii. There's nothing like sleeping outside and waking up to sunshine and an ocean breeze to get rid of the business school team room blues! Then, eight years into my ED role, I took a three month sabbatical and finally felt my burnout lift. And when I closed out my time as ED after a decade, I lived in a cabin on a lake for three months to rest and unwind before jumping into next steps.

  • As Executive Director, I was fortunate to be a part of several different ED peer groups. These relationships nurtured me, and were incredible sources of inspiration, connection, and understanding in a role that can be incredibly unique in responsibility. I'm thankful to this day for these relationships.

More broadly, feeling connected to community is critical for me. Whether it's regular dinners with my neighbors, walks with old friends, book clubs, or connecting with peers in my yoga teacher trainings, these relationships are at the heart of what helps me feel connected and inspired.
